As the deadline for IPL teams to announce their retentions approaches, fans are eagerly waiting to see which players will be retained, especially when it comes to one of the biggest names in Indian cricket—Rohit Sharma. “It will be fascinating to see which team bids for Rohit if he’s not retained. He’s an amazing leader and a proven match-winner. Even at 37, he still has plenty of cricket left in him. If Rohit enters the auction, he will fetch big bucks. It will be exciting to see the auction unfold,” Harbhajan said. 

Harbhajan didn’t stop at praising Rohit’s cricketing abilities. He also shed light on Rohit’s personality off the field. Calling him “yaaro ka yaar” (a friend’s friend), Harbhajan highlighted Rohit’s humility, respect for elders, and his ability to always maintain a smile, no matter the situation.
