England and Australia are facing off in the second Ashes Test at the iconic Lord's. Ben Stokes won the toss and decided to have a field. The Aussie openers walked out to bat and when it was looking like they are getting past the initial nervousness, rain has interrupted the play.

So far, 9 Overs have been bowled in which Australia have scored 20 runs without losing a wicket. David Warner is out there at 14 off 27 balls, while Usman Khawaja is unbeaten at 6 off 27.

During the short stay at the crease, both the Aussie openers looked a bit jittery. The English bowlers have often went past the outside edge, inducing confusion within the minds of the batters. The lack of confidence in his defence and the new cherry in Stuard Broad's hand prompted an ambitious shot from Warner. On the other end, Khwaja also survived an outside edge that nearly went to the first slip.

Rain Stops, Play Resumes

So after 10 minutes of break, the players are back to resume play at the time of the writing. Things will begin at 20 no loss for Australia and the openers will try to establish a strong foundation on which a significant total can be posted.
