In a significant development, there are reports that 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre is all set to make his IPL debut in CSK vs MI match. Notably, Mumbai Indians will host Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium and according to a report from Gaurav Gupta of TOI, Mhatre is all set to make his debut.

Ayush Mhatre Shines In His Training Session
Notably, CSK are struggling in the ongoing season as they are placed last on the table with just 2 wins in seven matches. Thus, CSK are likely to make several changes to the playing XI and inclusion of Ayush Mhatre is one of them.
Further, Mhatre, who impressed the CSK management with his domestic performance, also looked well in his first training session with the Men in Yellow as he timed the ball perfectly in the nets.
Further, Mhatre was also in consideration by the CSK before the IPL 2025 mega-auction, but the five-time winners didn't invest in the youngster.
