Why PSL star should be picked in Pakistan squad [Source: @IsbUnited/X.com]
Pakistan have a new sensation in town and his name is Sahibzada Farhan. The Islamabad United star smashed a mind-boggling century against the Peshawar Zalmi and broke several records in the process. He is a proper definition of a t20 batter and Islamabad are blessed to have a player like him in their team.
The current Pakistan white-ball side is going through a turmoil as they lost in the Champions Trophy and in the white-ball series against New Zealand. Plus, their T20I team needs fresh faces and it is time for the PCB selectors to reward PSL performers and include Sahibzada Farhan in the side and here's why.
Numbers don't lie
In the recently concluded National T20 Cup in Pakistan, the aggressive batter was the best player of the tournament as he turned on god mode and was the highest run-getter of the tournament.

In just 7 matches, the talented batter had mind-boggling numbers which was unrivalled. He amassed 605 runs, with 3 centuries to his name. Also, the strike-rate of 189.66 has rarely been seen in Pakistan cricket as of late and a player who is going through a dream run should be included in the team.
The Pakistan players as of late have been going through a turmoil with all their big stars struggling for runs.

The two have scored truckloads of runs, but there hasn't been one match-winning innings. Plus, the strike-rate is questionable as Sahibzada Farhan recently has a strike-rate of almost 190, while Babar (133) and Rizwan (117.30) strike at a low rate.
This was the main reason as to why the selectors dropped the duo from the New Zealand T20Is, and instead of bringing them back, Pakistan should look at new aged aggressive batters like Sahibzada Farhan.
