IPL 2025 is halfway through. All teams have played more than seven games and the table is shaping up. So far, RCB, PBKS, DC, and GT are the best performing team, while five-time winners Chennai Super Kings are struggling for wins and are placed last on the table.
Midway through the season, most of the team have sorted their team combinations, but still few teams are struggling and there are a few unanswered mysteries of IPL 2025. This article will shed light on three questions that the fans have not got clarification on for the ongoing season.
1.T Natarajan's Absence
Delhi Capitals are doing well in IPL 2025 as they are placed 2nd on the table with 10 points in seven matches. Despite the success, DC have failed to provide any update on T Natarjan's absence from the tournament.
Notably, Delhi Capitals bought T Natarajan for 10.75 crores and the left-arm seamer has not played a solitary match in the tournament so far. On top of that there is no clarity as to is Natarajan injured or out of the playing XI because of a tactical decision.

2.Under-Utilisation Of Nitish Reddy And Andre Russell
Nitish Reddy and Andre Russell are quality all-rounders. However, they have been utilised just as a batter in the ongoing tournament, which is a mystery in its own. Notably, Russell, who bowled regularly in IPL 2024, has bowled in just three innings in IPL 2025.

3. RCB's RTM For Swapnil Singh
Every franchise were allowed two RTMs during IPL 2025 mega-auction and RCB opted for uncapped Swapnil Singh, whom they bought back at the auction table for 50 lakhs. They kept the RTM option alive for Singh and usually a franchise, who uses a RTM, believes in that player and give them a longer rope to perform.
Interestingly, RCB, who bought Swapnil Singh, is yet to give a solitary game to the all-rounder in IPL 2025. Despite the Challengers doing well in the tournament, looking back, their decision to retain Swapnil made no sense as half of the season is over. Lets look at Swapnil's performance in IPL 2024.
