On October 9, India will face Bangladesh for the 2nd T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The visitors are trailing 0-1 in the series after suffering a seven-wicket defeat against India in the opening match.

It is a crucial game for both teams, as even India cannot look to relax. Instead, the Suryakumar Yadav-led side would look to seal the series with a win in the upcoming match. This article will focus on India's probable XI for the 2nd T20I.

India's Probable XI For 2nd T20I

There are high chances that the Men in Blue would not look to disturb their current combination that reeked the result. As said, if it ain't broke, why fix it? Similarly, India would look to go with the same playing XI.

However, if there has to be a change, then Harshit Rana can make his debut. The KKR star bowler was also a part of the Zimbabwe tour but failed to make his debut. Thus, Gautam Gambhir would look to bring in Harshit. Washington Sundar is one player who can make way for Rana.

Abhishek, Sanju To Open

Abhishek Kumar and Sanju Samson will open the innings as Riyan Parag, Hardik Pandya will headline the middle-order. Meanwhile, as seen in the first T20I, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh would look after the lower middle-order. In the bowling, India might go ahead with three seaming options. Arshdeep Singh, Mayank Yadav, and Harshit Rana are the apt choices.

Varun Chakravarthy, who was phenominal in the first T20I, would be the sole spinner in the side.

India's Probable XI: Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, Riyan Parag, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Rinku Singh, Harshit Rana, Varun Chakravarthy, Mayank Yadav, and Arshdeep Singh.
