It's time for the third and final T20I of the three-match series between India and Bangladesh at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The home team, India have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 with thumping wins in both Gwalior and Delhi and would now be looking to complete a clean sweep and stamp their authority over struggling Bangla Tigers.

India have always been a stronger team on paper and were expected to dominate the proceedings. However, with some young and inexperienced players in their squad, it was expected that Bangladesh would show some fight in this series. However, they have been thoroughly outclassed in both batting and bowling department and so, let's see what's the head-to-head record between the two sides look like.

India vs Bangladesh Head-To-Head Record (T20Is)

Overall, India and Bangladesh have played 16 T20Is against each other. Fifteen of those have been won by Men in Blue while Bangla Tigers have won just a solitary game. That victory came in 2019 in Delhi and so, India have always enjoyed upper hand in their battle against Bangla Tigers.

There have been some close matches in between, but Bangladesh have largely struggled in the shortest format of the game due to lack of power in their batting and the story has continued in this series.

The final match of the series in Hyderabad is also the last game for Mahmudullah in his T20I career, and he would be looking to finish on a high. The veteran middle order batter was also the highest run-scorer for Bangladesh in the last match with 41 off 29 balls. However, if Bangladesh want to get over the line against mighty Indians, they would need both their batters and bowlers to fire in unison.
