India have announced a strong and balanced squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. The squad looks to have all bases covered and ready for the challenges they will face in the tournament.

The Indian Premier League has often been the breeding ground for talent for the Indian team in major tournaments like the Champions Trophy. So, in this article, we will look at how many players from each IPL team are there in India's Champions Trophy 2025 squad.

The most number of representations is from the Mumbai Indians. Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rohit Sharma, the five-time IPL Champions, have three representations on the Indian side of the tournament. 

2. Delhi Capitals - 3

KL Rahul, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav

Delhi Capitals stand at the top with the Mumbai Indians. The Capitals also have three representations on the Indian side. The three players from DC's IPL 2025 squad are KL Rahul, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav.

3. Gujarat Titans - 2

Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar

At the second spot are the IPL 2022 champions, the Gujarat Titans. The skipper of the team, Shubman Gill, and one of their new recruits for the upcoming edition, Washington Sundar, are the two members of the IPL 2025 squad who are in India's CT 2025 squad. 

4. Punjab Kings - 2

Shreyas Iyer, Arshdeep Singh

The Punjab Kings share the second spot with the Gujarat Titans as they, too, have two representatives in India's CT 2025 squad. One of their lead pacers, Arshdeep Singh, and the newly appointed captain of the side, Shreyas Iyer, are the two players in India's CT 2025 squad.

The third spot is shared by five teams. One of the teams is the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Their star player and poster boy, Virat Kohli, is their only representative.

6. Rajasthan Royals - 1

Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the dynamic young opener of Rajasthan Royals, is the only representative of the RR side in India's CT 2025 squad.

7. Chennai Super Kings - 1

Ravindra Jadeja

The veteran all-rounder and a three-dimensional player in the true sense of the term, Ravindra Jadeja, is CSK's only representative in India's CT 2025 squad.

8. Lucknow Super Giants -1

Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant was the highest-paid cricketer in the IPL 2025 auction. He was bought for ₹ 27 Cr by the Lucknow Super Giants and remains the only representative of the side in India's CT 2025 squad.

9. Sunrisers Hyderabad - 1

Mohammed Shami

The star Indian pacer is back from injury and ready to play for India at the highest level. Mohammed Shami, who was bought by SRH during the IPL 2025 auction for ₹ 10 Cr, is the franchise's sole representative on India's CT 2025 squad.

10. Kolkata Knight Riders - 0

There was speculation that Varun Chakravarthy might get a chance in the Champions Trophy 2025 squad. However, the mystery spinner was ignored by the Indian selectors, and as it stands, the defending champions have no representative on India's Champions Trophy 2025 squad.
