Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh came down hard at a Pakistani journalist for comparing legendary keeper-batter MS Dhoni with Mohammad Rizwan. 

Regarded as Captain Cool, Dhoni is renowned for his exceptional wicket-keeping and finishing skills. Meanwhile, Rizwan has performed admirably for Pakistan, particularly in white-ball cricket. 

So, considering his consistency, a certain journalist from Pakistan audaciously compared Rizwan with the former Indian captain, asking his followers to pick the better player between the two.

Meanwhile, Harbhajan quoted the post as soon as he noticed it on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). 

In his response, the Turbanator slammed the journalist for making such a silly comparison, declaring Dhoni the clear winner, considering his achievements as a batter and captain. 

The iconic bowler, who played under Dhoni for India as well as Chennai Super Kings, also claimed that even Rizwan would keep the Indian great ahead of himself. 

"What r u smoking nowadays ???? What a silly question to ask . Bhaiyo isko batao . DHONI bhut aage hai RIZWAN se Even if u will ask Rizwan he will give u an honest answer for this . I like Rizwan he is good player who always play with intent.. but this comparison is wrong. DHONI no 1 even today in world cricket . None better thn him behind stumps," Harbhajan tweeted. 

After suffering a group-stage exit in the T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan are gearing up for a two-match Test series against Bangladesh at home. 

Meanwhile, after securing a 4-1 series victory over Zimbabwe, India will take on Sri Lanka in six white-ball matches.
