MS Dhoni stands as one of India's most influential players in cricket history. His impact has resonated deeply with numerous young players, many of whom have idolized him both past and present. Among these admirers is Kuldeep Yadav, who notably flourished under Dhoni's guidance. Today, Kuldeep openly expresses his sentiments, lamenting Dhoni's retirement and expressing a wish for the legendary player to have extended his career further.

Kuldeep Yadav's journey in cricket has been like a rollercoaster, with ups and downs. He quickly became a star player for India, but then he hit a rough patch.

Kuldeep gives a lot of credit to MS Dhoni for his success. He believes that when Dhoni was around, either as captain or as a senior player under Virat Kohli, he played his best. Dhoni's advice from behind the wickets really helped Kuldeep perform well. But when Dhoni retired, Kuldeep's game suffered for a while.

"I wanted Dhoni Bhai to play more because it was very easy when we were bowling - after Dhoni retired, my performance wasn't great, it happens when a person guides you & that person's influence is not there - then suddenly everything on your shoulders - it takes time, that probably happened to me then slowly you understand & becomes self-reliant".

Kuldeep managed to overcome the tough times and prove himself once again. In the last test against England in the recent series, Kuldeep expressed his upbeat and positive attitude, mentioning that he felt he was showcasing the best version of himself.

MS Dhoni is one of those rare individuals who have made the journey easier for many players. There's something special about Dhoni that brings out the best in every player he mentors. This is precisely why players like Shardul Thakur, who returned to Chennai Super Kings (CSK), expressed feeling less pressure. Having Dhoni around gives them a sense of calm and confidence, knowing they have his support and guidance.
