Virat Kohli’s warm brotherly side has come to the forefront again, thanks to RCB’s INR 30 lakh buy Swastik Chikara, whose heartfelt confession about the Indian cricket star has endeared Kohli further to fans. 

Known for his aggressive on-field persona, Virat Kohli has shown a calmer, more nurturing demeanour off the field, as revealed by his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate.

Virat Kohli’s Brotherly Side Revealed By Chikara

In a video shared by RCB on their official social media handles, Swastik Chikara opened up about his bond with Virat Kohli, calling him a caring “elder brother” who fosters a familial environment within the team. 

Chikara recounted a light-hearted incident where he tried Kohli’s perfume, expecting scolding, but instead received a warm response.

“Bade Bhaiya hai na wo apne (Virat Kohli is our elder brother), so I was checking his perfume to ensure he doesn't use a bad perfume, so I tried it. And then Virat bhaiya asked how it was, I said it's nice and I was checking to let you know,” Chikara shared.

This mirrors another instance from IPL 2024 when Kolkata Knight Riders’ Rinku Singh confessed to breaking a bat gifted by Kohli. The RCB star playfully scolded him, showcasing their brotherly dynamic.

RCB’s IPL 2025 Campaign Starts Good!

Virat Kohli has already begun IPL 2025 on a high note, smashing 59 runs off 36 balls in RCB’s opening win against KKR. 

With momentum on their side, RCB is gearing up for a mega-clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 28th. Fans are hopeful that Kohli & Co. can replicate their winning form and finally secure RCB’s maiden IPL trophy.
