'Very Few Like You' - Gautam Gambhir Wishes IPL-Famous Naveen-ul-Haq His Birthday

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor Gautam Gambhir wished the team’s Afghanistan-based speedster Naveen-ul-Haq on the latter’s 24th birthday. The former Indian cricketer took to Instagram and left a heartfelt caption, and shared a picture of himself with the fast bowler donning their LSG training jerseys. 

While Naveen remains an impeccable T20 talent with the ball, a majority of Indian cricket fans know him for his heated exchange with all-time batting great Virat Kohli during the IPL 2023 season.


Gautam Gambhir hails Naveen-ul-Haq on his birthday

Gautam Gambhir, who himself had an altercation with his former Indian and Delhi teammate Virat Kohli during this year’s IPL 2023, wished Naveen-ul-Haq on the latter’s 24th birthday by sharing a heartfelt caption on his Instagram account. The former Indian cricketer and LSG team mentor wrote:

"Happy Birthday @naveen_ul_haq! There are very few like you. Never change!"


Earlier this year, Virat Kohli had a verbal go at Naveen-ul-Haq when the latter was batting for LSG during his side’s run-chase against RCB in IPL 2023.

The altercation between the two cricketers continued well after the match was over as both were seen exchanging a few words with each other during the team’s customary handshakes.

Gautam Gambhir, who already has a history with Kohli, soon stepped in and had a seemingly aggressive conversation with the RCB veteran while surrounded by players from both camps.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) eventually slapped fines on all three cricketers for breaching IPL’s code of conduct.
