Pack Your Bags And Leave: Pakistan's Biggest Criticizer Lambasts At Top Order Batter

On Sunday, the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh came to an unexpected end as Najmul Hossain Shanto and Co humiliated the Men In Green at their home Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium after winning their first test ever.

Pakistan's decision to declare after their 448/6 in the first innings came back to haunt them terribly as Bangladesh, with their fearless spirit, outplayed them in all facets of the game.

Former Pakistani cricketer, Basit Ali, has once again made headlines with his open criticism of Pakistan's national cricket team and his brutal warning to top-order batter, Abdullah Shafique. He said that he would've asked Shafique to pack his bags and leave after his poor selection of shot costed Pakistan the game.

Basit Ali Lashes Out At Abdullah Shafique

"If I was in the dressing room, I would have told Abdullah Shafique to pack his bags and leave. His shot was the reason Pakistan lost the match. After hitting 37, you are giving away your wicket with such a shot. Shan Masood should punish Shafique. This is Pakistan's team, not your local team. They played the wrong combination," Basit said on his YouTube channel.

It was not just Abdullah Shafique but also Naseem Shah who gave his wicket recklessly.

"Look at the way Naseem Shah gave away his wicket. This is Pakistan Cricket not street cricket, this happens in England's league cricket", he added.

Another crucial reason why Pakistan lost to Bangladesh was their failure and inability to read the surface accurately.
