The 17th edition of Indian Premier League as always has caught the attention of cricket fans around the world, and with T20 World Cup around the corner, there are few mini-battles also cooking up for variety of spots in the Indian team.

One such spot is of a wicketkeeper and the competition for it is intense with likes of Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, Jitesh Sharma, KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik all looking to grab the opportunity. Couple of them have not been able to deliver this season while Dinesh Karthik has grabbed the limelight with his stunning finishing skills.

Sanju Samson, the RR skipper has also played few handy knocks and is looking in great touch and out of him and Ishan Kishan, only one will most probably get the ticket as they both bat higher up the order.

Sanju has now opened up on his competition with Ishan in which he has praised Ishan Kishan for his skills both with the bat and ball. Samson stated that he does not like to compete with anyone and added that everyone has their strength and weaknesses. The RR skipper mentioned that he just want to play for country and the competing with your own teammate is not a healthy thing.

Samson seems to be ahead in the race currently, and with team for the World Cup expected to be selected in the first or second week of May, every game from hereon becomes important for all these wicketkeepers looking to book a flight for the T20 World Cup.
