Pakistan’s young speedster, Mohammad has his eyes locked on one thing: a spot in Pakistan’s squad for the Asia Cup. And he knows exactly where he has to shine to earn it: the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025.

Mohammad Hasnain Sets Sights On Asia Cup Squad

The 25-year-old tearaway quick is buzzing with energy ahead of PSL 2025. In an exclusive chat with Geo News, Mohammad Hasnain opened up about his recent training stints, team environment and what is fuelling his fire this season. His goal is crystal clear: perform well in the PSL and make the selectors sit up and take notice.

Fresh off training sessions in Multan and Karachi, Hasnain looked charged up and ready to hit the ground running.

“I am excited for PSL, and the preparations for the event have been quite good,” he said. “I had good training in Multan for four days, and now I’m in Karachi.”

He is no stranger to PSL action as the league has been his launchpad to the big stage. And he knows the drill.

“PSL is a great platform for young players, I also came through this league,” he pointed out.

While every player wants to shine in the PSL, Hasnain’s eyes are already locked on the Asia Cup squad announcement.

“My goal in the league is to perform my best and make a place in the team for the Asia Cup,” he said, wearing his intent on his sleeve.

Franchise Life And Memories With Quetta

Hasnain’s been around the PSL block and has played for different franchises. Each one, he says, brings its own vibe.

“Each franchise has a different environment; I really enjoyed my time with Quetta Gladiators,” he recalled fondly as he aims to start a new stint with Multan Sultans.

With fire in the belly and the ball likely to zip through at 145+, Mohammad Hasnain’s got his game face on. And if everything clicks, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him don Pakistan colours again.
