The second Test between India and Australia at the Adelaide Oval was dominated by the hosts, who clinched a comprehensive 10-wicket victory. Travis Head, playing on his home ground, was the star of the show, scoring a magnificent century that dismantled India's bowling attack.

The match had its share of contentious moments, particularly a heated exchange between Travis Head and Indian bowler Mohammed Siraj that added intensity to the contest. However, in a recent development, Head announced that both players have mutually resolved any misunderstandings that occurred on the field.

Head Unites With Siraj, 'No-Grudge' Over Misunderstanding

The incident rooted from the 82nd over of Australia's first inning, when Siraj dismissed Head with a yorker. Following the dismissal, the two engaged in a verbal altercation, with Siraj's gestures drawing considerable attention.

After Head's dismissal, he appeared visibly upset about his missed opportunity, and camera replays captured him making abusive gestures. In response, Siraj delivered an aggressive send-off. However, after the match, during a press conference, Head had a different perspective on the exchange.

"I said well bowled to Siraj, he got a little bit back from me after he pointed me to the shed. Slightly disappointed with the way that transpired. If they want to react like that and that's how they want to represent themselves, then so be it".

Mohammed Siraj, ahead of Day 3, told in a conversation with Harbhajan Singh that Head lied in the press conference.

"Travis Head didn't say 'well bowled'. He lied in the press conference. We respect everyone. His way of speaking was wrong, I didn't like it hence the reaction".

Nevertheless, in a recent development, Head concluded the heated affair and cleared the air on Siraj and his misunderstanding, underlining that both of them will not hold any grudge over the exchange.

"Siraj has come out and said it was a bit of a misunderstanding. We'll move on, let's not ruin a great week. Me and Siraj are sweet, and we move on," Travis told as per ABC Sport.

Australia Floors India in Adelaide

In the match, Australia took a commanding 10-wicket victory over India in the second Test at the Adelaide Oval. Mitchell Starc's early wickets set the tone, and a strong first-innings lead proved too much for India to overcome. A late collapse on Day 2 further hindered India's chances of a comeback. The series is now tied 1-1 as both teams prepare for their next test in Brisbane.
