Humble Ayush Badoni Spills Beans On Kohli's Fielding Position For Delhi vs Railways Match

On Thursday, January 30, Delhi will lock horns against Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. It is a special match as it marks Virat Kohli's return to domestic cricket after 13 years. 

Virat is struggling for runs and has returned to fix his basics and play for Delhi. In the past two days, Kohli was seen at Delhi's training ground, where he clicked loads of selfies with his former teammates and also engaged in intense training sessions. 

Ayush Badoni Speaks On Captaining Kohli

Further, there were reports that Virat was offered captaincy by the DDCA, but the capped star refused and urged to play under Ayush Badoni's leadership, who has done well for the team. In the latest events, Badoni spoke to the press ahead of the much-anticipated clash and expressed his excitement to play alongside Virat. 

Further, Badoni was also asked about the challenges that come along with leading the side with seniors like Virat who is giving him instructions on the field. When asked about how will Badoni ask Virat where to field, the LSG star replied that it is up to Kohli where he wants to stand. 


Badoni was humble enough to did not fall to reporter's trap to get something exclusive out of Badoni. Further, the LSG star also confirmed Kohli's batting order and remarked that India star batter will bat at No.4

"He will bat at No. 4. He has told us to be positive and express ourselves confidently. I have played against Virat Bhaiyya in the IPL. It is an honour that in back-to-back matches I have now led Rishabh and Virat bhaiyya," Badoni told ANI. 

It is worth noting that the upcoming match is the last Ranji Trophy league stage and Virat will join the Indian team for the upcoming ODIs against England.
