Senior Indian batter KL Rahul headlined Delhi Capitals’ thrilling win over Rajasthan Royals in match 32 of the IPL 2025 season in Delhi. The cricketer belted 38 runs from 32 balls in the game before both sides found themselves strangled in a 188-run deadlock.

In the ensuing Super Over, Rahul notched up a crucial boundary off Rajasthan Royals’ fast bowler Sandeep Sharma while Tristan Stubbs brought up the winning runs. While the 33-year-old wicketkeeper-batter played a significant role for the Capitals in the match, he also won over hearts of the Indian cricket fans with his sporting gesture on the field.

Moments after steering Delhi Capitals to a thrilling Super Over win, KL Rahul caught up with former Indian coach and current Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid on the field. Interacting with the legendary Indian cricketer, KL also wished Dravid a speedy recovery for his leg injury.

The 33-year-old also caught up with national teammate and Rajasthan Royals’ explosive opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal. In a video shared by the Capitals franchise, the two cricketers can be seen sharing a friendly interaction with each other.

KL Rahul was roped in by the Delhi Capitals franchise at the IPL 2025 mega auction last year. So far this IPL 2025 season, the cricketer has plundered 238 runs in five innings at a splendid average of 59.50. He has also belted two half-centuries, both in match-winning causes, doing so against the CSK and RCB in successive games earlier this month.

KL Rahul alongside the rest of his Delhi Capitals teammates will now go up against the Gujarat Titans at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. The match will be played on Saturday, April 19.
