Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been known for their camaraderie on and off the field. They have played together for many years and have been part of numerous successful partnerships for the Indian cricket team. 

There were indeed rumours and speculations in the past about a possible rift between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. These speculations often surfaced due to various factors, including on-field decisions, team dynamics, and media interpretations. 

Virat Kohli and Sharma Rohit consistently dismissed these rumours and highlighted that there was no truth to the alleged rift. They reiterated their strong professional relationship and mutual respect for each other's cricketing abilities. The Indian team management also played down any such issues and emphasised the unity within the team.

When Virat Kohli Threw Light On His Equation With Rohit Sharma

Ahead of the India vs Pakistan clash at T20 World Cup 2022, Virat was once again asked about his understanding with Rohit and the former India captain said, 

"Rohit and his understanding and vision of the game is quite similar as they base their plans so as to take care of every shortcomings if there are."

He also added, “Our discussions are always on how we win big tournaments and then, our planning and preparations are directed towards that. Ever since I have come back to the team, the atmosphere has been very good. Whenever there’s this healthy camaraderie within the group, then you look forward to doing anything you can for the team,"
