'He Makes Players...': Former Indian Cricketer Praises MS Dhoni's Tactical Acumen

Despite injury concerns and an inexperienced bowling line-up, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have risen to the top half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 points table.
In a close encounter last evening against hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), skipper MS Dhoni marshaled his troops to perfection, winning the match by eight runs defending 226.
For CSK, Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube have been top performers so far. Dube has been a revelation for CSK, having scored 134 runs, including a 25-ball 50 against RCB.
Former India opener Aakash Chopra has hailed skipper Dhoni for bringing the best out of his players. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra opined that Rahane and Dube have showcased their best under Dhoni this season.
Here's what Chopra said
"Ajinkya Rahane likes Bangalore and batted very well till the time he was there. Shivam Dube also batted very well. He was earlier a part of RCB and then the Rajasthan Royals as well but what do you see with Dhoni - all other teams find players, MS Dhoni doesn't find but makes players.
It is heartwarming to see the players performing under him. Shivam Dube's story is the same and we are seeing a different Ajinkya Rahane in the two or three matches he has played. He hit a pulled six - what a shot."
Dube has played for Rajasthan Royals (RR) and RCB in the past, failing to showcase his full all-rounder potential.
CSK will go up against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday at Chepauk.
