After Crossing 7,000 IPL Runs, Virat Kohli Breaches Another Milestone for RCB

It has been a productive evening for Virat Kohli so far. Earlier, he became the first player in the history of the Indian Premier League to cross 7,000 runs in the tournament, and now has achieved another milestone in his illustrious IPL career.
He has now scored 1,000 runs against the Delhi Capitals, and continues to amaze us with his skillset.
Kohli has been in terrific form in the ongoing IPL, and made good use of the opportunity once again as he scored briskly on a two-paced wicket and broke two milestones in a day.
In 28 matches, Kohli has racked up 1,010 runs in 28 matches against the Capitals. Interestingly, the former RCB skipper has an average in excess of 50 against the Capitals. Moreover, he has 9 fifties against them as well.
In IPL 2023, Kohli has slammed 394 runs in 10 matches, at an average of 49.25.
Talking about the match, RCB started off on a strong note, courtesy Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli. But a double over wicket from Mitchell Marsh has brought DC back in the contest.
