The much-awaited toss of the 1st unofficial Test match between India A and Australia A at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow has been delayed due to rain and bad weather on September 16, 2025.

The morning began with a steady drizzle at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, putting a halt to the scheduled toss and casting uncertainty over a timely commencement.

However, there is some relief for fans as the rain has now stopped, and ground staff have begun preparations to make the outfield and pitch match-ready. Both sets of players were seen warming up, indicating hopes for play to begin shortly. It is important to note that the toss will is scheduled for 11:30 AM IST, and the match will begin at 12:00 PM.
