Virat Kohli Out (Source:@ScreenGrab)
In the ongoing 2nd Test between India and Australia at the Adelaide Oval, Virat Kohli has let his fans down with another horror show with the pink-ball. Notably, Virat came to bat when India were 69/2, but the former India captain could not contribute much.
Virat started positively and smashed a boundary, but eventually threw his wicket away to Mitchell Starc, who has taken three wickets in the match. On the 1st ball of the 21st over, Starc bowled a full-pitched delivery that Virat thought of blocking it, but changed his mind at the last second.
Virat Surrenders To Starc's Class
Virat tried to put his bat away from the line of the ball, but failed to do it in time and eventually it produced a thick outside edge and Steve Smith made no mistake at the slips. Virat returned to the pavilion with a score of 7 (8) and it featured a solitary four. Here is the video of the incident.
Virat Kohli's Struggles Continue With Pink-Ball
It is worth noting that Virat failed to score in the infamous 36-all out for India in Adelaide, the last time they played a pink-ball Test in Australia. Further, Virat did not take part in the recent practice match between India and AUS PM XI.
It is worth noting that Kohli is having a mixed series so far as he smashed a century in the 2nd innings of the first Test, but faltered in the first innings of the Perth Test as well. At the time of writing this article, India are 82/4 after tea break in the Pink-Ball Test.
