Swashbuckling Australian batter Travis Head had another memorable day, as he smacked a blistering 32-ball 89 in Sunrisers Hyderabad's ongoing IPL 2024 clash against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley stadium. 

Opening the batting, Head struck eleven fours and six maximums, ensuring a great start for the Pat Cummins-led side alongside Abhishek Sharma. 

However, the explosive batter couldn't complete his hundred, with ace Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav dismissing him. 

The incident occurred during the ninth over of SRH's innings when they had already raced to 154, thanks to Head and Sharma's fireworks. 

The over started on a disappointing note for Kuldeep, with Heinrich Klaasen hammering him for two massive sixes within his first four deliveries. However, the spinner concluded the over on a high, getting rid of Head, who was on the brink of a sensational hundred. 

It was a short-of-good-length delivery from Kuldeep, luring Head into a lofted shot. The batter fell in the trap, as he mistimed it while trying for another six over the long-on. 

Tristan Stubbs, placed at long on, showcased his exemplary fielding skills, holding on to a low diving catch. 

After Head, Klaasen also departed, as Axar castled him with a ripper. As of writing, the visitors were cruising towards a mammoth total, placed at 166 for four in just 11.1 overs.
