S Sreesanth picked up four wickets on Wednesday in Match 13 of the ongoing US Masters T10 in Lauderhill. The 40-year-old, who was at his absolute best during India's World Cup-winning campaign in 2007, brought back fond memories for everyone.

Sreesanth took two wickets with the new ball, removing the opening batsmen for the Texas Chargers, Mohammad Hafeez and Mukhtar Ahmed, inside three balls. He then arrived in the ninth over and quickly got rid of Darren Stevens and Upul Tharanga, making it a memorable day.

However, Sreesanth’s spirited performance was not enough for the Harbhajan Singh-led Morrisville Unity to register a victory. Chasing 110, they could only manage to put 75/8 on the board, with Shehan Jayasuriya top-scoring with a 16-ball 22. 

The likes of Chris Gayle, Parthiv Patel, Manvinder Bisla, and Corey Anderson all failed miserably, as they eventually suffered a 34-run defeat. 

With the loss, Morrisville Unity dropped to fourth on the points table, with five points in five outings. Texas Chargers, on the other hand, are second, with six points in same number of matches.
