Shubman Gill often gets criticised due to his 'anchor' approach in T20Is. In fact, there has been constant discussion among the experts regarding his captaincy responsibility in the ongoing India versus Zimbabwe T20Is, which has made him undroppable from the playing XI.

However, on Saturday, during India's series-clinching victory over Zimbabwe in Harare, the 24-year-old silenced his critics with an unbeaten 39-ball 58, laced with six fours and two sixes. During his hammering, he made an interesting gesture, which went viral on social media in no time.

Just when India were about to see off a 153-run target, Gill, right after completing his second half-century on the trot, smashed Brian Bennett for a 98 metre six over deep mid-wicket. Soon after, he made a gesture with his hand, which indicated 'shut out the noise' from outside.

However, Gill's six also did not allow Yashasvi Jaiswal to get a well-deserved century. Despite Gill's show, Jaiswal made 93 not out off 53 balls, which had 13 fours and two sixes.

India and Zimbabwe will next face each other again on Sunday for one last time in the fifth and final T20I in Harare.
