Ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja helped India bounce back in the ongoing first ODI against Australia in Mohali. The left-arm off-spinner dismissed explosive opener David Warner, ensuring India's thumping comeback in the game.

After being put into bat first, Australia had a disastrous start to their innings, losing Mitchell Marsh to Mohammed Shami in the first over. However, David Warner and Steve Smith steadied the Australian ship, stitching a crucial stand for the second wicket.

While Smith took his time, adopting a cautious approach to settle in the middle, Warner hammered a blistering fifty. The swashbuckling southpaw took on the Indian bowlers to compose a flamboyant 53-ball 52 before Jadeja sent him back to the dugout.

It was a length delivery, which invited Warner for a half-hearted slog sweep. The batter mistimed it, as the ball was eventually grabbed by Shubman Gill, stationed at long on.

After Warner's departure, Australia lost one more wicket in the form of Steve Smith, who was cleaned up by Mohammed Shami. Riding on Jadeja and Shami's bowling exploits, India have reduced Australia to 113 for three, with Cameron Green and Marnus Labuschagne batting on 1* and 11*, respectively.
