A Cat during Pakistan vs New Zealand final (Source:@TheRealPCB/X.com)
Pakistan up are against New Zealand in the final of the tri-series and it is turning out to be an interesting game with both teams exchanging blows throughout the game. It has kept fans interested, and an unexpected guest during the game also made sure that fans don't take their eyes off the game.
The unexpected guest was the black cat which made its entry on the ground at the end of 24 overs during New Zealand's innings. Her entry interrupted the cricket action and slowly and steadily after enjoying her time in the middle, the cat walked off the field. In the first innings too, the same black cat was seen in the ground. At that time, she had to face a threat from an eagle who came pretty close to catching the cat as she ran for her life on the ground.
Pakistan Fight After Below-Par Batting Performance
It all ended well for the little cat and the riveting cricket action on the field continued after those antics. Pakistan batted first in the tense final and scored 242 with captain Rizwan top-scoring for his team. William O'Rourke was the pick of the bowlers for the Kiwis with a four-wicket haul and now Pakistan bowlers are fighting hard to make a match out of their below-par score.
Will Young was dismissed on the second over of the innings, and Kane Williamson too could not carry his great form from the last game and departed on 34. Conway fell two short of his fifty and currently the duo of Daryl Mitchell and Tom Latham are trying their best to take Black Caps over the line.
