Mohammed Siraj has been quite a revelation for India in last couple of years and has developed himself into one of India's premier asset across formats. In the World Cup 2023 too he has bowled with lot of fire and has picked wickets regularly, reaffirming his status as a gun-pacer for India. In the game against Bangladesh at Pune too, he showed his class and picked two crucial wickets, one of them being of Nasum Ahmed who was outclassed by a sharp short delivery from the talented Indian pacer.
How Mohammed Siraj got the wicket?
It was the fifth delivery of the 47th over and Siraj after getting hit for a boundary off the fourth delivery, tried to bounce out Nasum Ahmed. The left-handed batter made room and tried to pull it. However, the ball catched the outside edge of his blade and KL Rahul behind the stumps took an easy catch, handing Siraj his second wicket.
Bangladesh eventually managed to score 256 on the board in their allotted 50 overs and India would be banking themselves to chase this total and make it four in four in this World Cup.
