Led by Rohit Sharma, India got off to a great start in their ongoing Asia Cup Super Four game against Bangladesh, as ace speedster Mohammed Shami got rid of experienced batter Litton Das. Shami, who has been drafted into the XI in place of Jasprit Bumrah, castled the Bangladeshi keeper-batter with an absolute beauty.

After batting first in their previous two games against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, team India opted to bowl in the Bangladesh clash in a bid to test their batters while chasing. The decision proved to be a masterstroke, as Shami jolted Bangladesh with a massive blow, cleaning up Das with a ripper in the third over.

The experienced speedster, who took some time to get his rhythm, bowled a seam-up delivery, which seamed significantly off the pitch, breaching Litton's defence and shattering his middle stump.

Litton, who joined the national side after recovering from a viral infection, thus recorded his third consecutive failure in the Asia Cup, being dismissed for a two-ball duck.

After his departure, Bangladesh lost one more wicket in the form of Tanzid Hasan, who was bowled by Shardul Thakur in the fourth over.

As of writing, the Tigers are reeling at 20 for two in 3.4 overs, with Shakib Al Hasan and Anamul Haque Bijoy batting on 5* and 0*, respectively.
