On Day 2 of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Rawalpindi, Pakistan's wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan faced an unfortunate setback during the Bangladesh innings.

The incident occurred in the 8th over when Rizwan, while collecting the ball down the leg side off Khurram Shahzad's bowling, suffered cramps. Rizwan had to dive to his right to take the ball, but in the process, he hurt himself.

 Sarfaraz Ahmed replaces Rizwan

The game came to a halt as the physio rushed onto the field to attend to Rizwan. Despite, the discomfort, Rizwan stayed there to keep the next ball in order to give some time to Sarfaraz Ahmed, who was padding up.

Eventually, Rizwan walked off the ground, and Sarfaraz Ahmed stepped in to fill his shoes.

Pakistan declare their innings against BAN

Earlier in the match, Shan Masood's Pakistan declared their innings after posting a massive 448 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 113 overs. 

The innings was highlighted by brilliant centuries from the vice captain Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan. Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl first, but Pakistan’s formidable batting lineup proved too strong.
