Pakistan's premier fast bowler Mohammad Amir had a memorable outing in the ILT20 league stage match last night, scalping two crucial wickets for Desert Vipers against Gulf Giants. After trapping Adam Lyth plumb in front with a beauty, Amir grabbed the attention with a magical slower ball that got rid of  Muhammad Saghir Khan. 

The incident occurred during the 16th over of Gulf Giants' innings when the Vipers had already taken seven wickets. Skipper James Vince was batting as the Giants' lone warrior alongside Saghir Khan. Amir came back into the attack and weaved magic instantly, dismissing the latter with a beautiful delivery. 

From over the wicket, Mohammad Amir varied his pace wisely, deceiving the right-handed batter with his slow ball. As the batter tried to break the shackles with a lofted shot, he only managed a top edge, with Sam Curran taking a simple catch just outside the thirty-yard circle. 

The slow ball spoke volumes about Amir's incredible bowling skills, reminding Pakistan fans about his past heroics for the national team. 

Vipers Thrash Giants In A One-Sided Clash

Regarding the match, Desert Vipers swatted aside Gulf Giants by six wickets to claim the top spot in the points table. On the other hand, the Giants slipped to number five in the six-team standings after losing their second consecutive match. They will take on MI Emirates in their third league-stage match on Thursday.
