[Watch] Litton Das ‘Slaps’ Mohammed Siraj To Give Bangladesh 'Perfect' Start

Litton Das seemed to be in good touch against India during Bangladesh’s World Cup 2023 clash on Thursday (October 19) in Pune. The stylish opening batsman slammed two boundaries in three balls off Mohammed Siraj to give his side an ideal start against the Men in Blue.

Litton's shot against Siraj during Bangladesh's sixth over seemed more like a slap than a shot. The right-arm quick, currently the No.2-ranked ODI bowler in the world, gave some width, and Litton picked it handsomely before slamming it backward point leg for four runs.

Two balls later, Litton showed class against Siraj. It was a slightly fuller ball by Siraj towards the stumps, and Litton came down the track, and played beautifully through mid-wicket for another four.

Both shots were so beautiful to watch as Litton appeared to be the main man for Bangladesh in Shakib Al Hasan’s absence.

Having won the toss and opted to bat, Bangladesh got off to a delightful start against Rohit Sharma and his boys. The Tigers, at the time of writing, have raced to 45/0 after 8.3 overs, with Litton batting on 20*. Tanzid Hasan is batting from another end, on 23* respectively.
