In a moment that showcased the essence of conviction and belief in one's own strategy, Kuldeep Yadav's refusal to adhere to his captain Rohit Sharma's advice led to a crucial wicket during the India vs. England 4th Test match.

The dismissal of Zak Crawley unfolded as Kuldeep persisted with his plan, even as Rohit Sharma suggested a different approach.

As Crawley prepared to face the next delivery, Rohit Sharma, positioned at first slip, suggested to Kuldeep Yadav to bring the fielder in. However, Kuldeep, relying on his instincts and understanding of the game, insisted on keeping the fielder on the fence. Respectfully, Rohit Sharma accepted Kuldeep's decision and returned to his fielding position.

Moments later, Kuldeep's decision bore fruit as Crawley attempted to play a shot towards the region where the fielder had been stationed. The ball turned sharply, resulting in Crawley losing his wicket with his stumps disturbed.

The on-air commentary by Dinesh Karthik shed light on the exchange between Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav.

"Rohit asked whether Kuldeep wanted the gap open there. Kuldeep said no, let there be a gap, let there be cover, but just push the mid-off back. And the next ball, Crawley looking to play towards cover, was bowled neck and crop," DK said while doing commentary.

This incident underscores the importance of trust and confidence in one's abilities, even in the face of differing opinions.

Team India easily chased down the 192-run target on Day 4 of the Ranchi Test to secure the series win against England. Openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal built an 84-run partnership before Jaiswal fell for 37. Sharma reached a half-century, but a collapse followed, with Shoaib Bashir taking three quick wickets.

Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel steadied the ship, adding 72 runs, with Gill scoring a crucial half-century. Jurel remained unbeaten on 39 as India won by five wickets, taking a 3-1 series lead. The teams will now play the final match in Dharamshala on March 7.
