Jammu and Kashmir fielder, Paras Dogra pulled off perhaps the greatest catch in Ranji history as he dismissed Mumbai skipper, Ajinkya Rahane for a low score. Paras Dogra showed his athleticism and Rahane was left shell-shocked as the world witnessed a great catch to dismiss one of the best batter in Ranji.

Just like the first innings, Mumbai batters crumbled in front of J&K bowlers as the likes of Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer, all departed cheaply, giving the opposition an advantage. Mumbai's fate dependent on how Rahane performed, however, he couldn't do much as Paras Dogra had the last laugh with a stunner.

It was a fuller length ball outside the off as Ajinkya Rahane drove it uppishly towards the mid-off region. The ball was travelling quickly and was towards the left of Paras as he leaped in the air and stretched with a superhuman dive to his left to take a one-handed stunner.

All the big Mumbai names failed

After failures in the first innings, all eyes were on Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal as the opening duo was expected to perform better. However, despite a decent start, both the batters threw their wickets away.

Rohit played a rash shot and was caught at short mid wicket region. Jaiswal, soon followed his captain back to the pavilion and disaster struck when Shreyas Iyer also departed for a low score to push Mumbai on the back-foot. 

The champion side was further dented as Shivam Dube went back for his second successive duck in the match, and Rahane's wicket was the final nail in the coffin.
