English opener, Ben Duckett made history by setting a new record for the fastest fifty by an England player in Tests. His remarkable feat, achieved in just 32 balls during the 2nd Test against West Indies at Nottingham, is a testament to his exceptional skill and talent.

In the 10th over, Jason Holder bowled a good-length delivery angled across. Duckett opened the face of his bat and guided it perfectly past the gully fielder for a boundary. With this, he slammed his 11th boundary of the innings and reached his fifty in full style.

The crowd erupted in a thunderous applause, their cheers echoing throughout the stadium, as they witnessed Duckett's historic achievement. 

Earlier, West Indies' bowler Alzarri Joseph jolted England after getting an early breakthrough for his team and sending Zak Crawley packing for a three-ball duck. However, both Duckett along with Ollie Pope were hell-bent on not budging away as both the players built a strong partnership of 95 runs. 

West Indies would be hoping to make a get a wicket and break this partnership. At the time of writing, ENG is at 96-1.
