The 2nd T20I between Pakistan and South Africa is underway at the SupoerSport Park in Centurion. The visitors opted to bat first after winning the toss but lost their skipper, Mohammad Rizwan, early on in the innings. 

However, Saim Ayub and Babar Azam were unfazed by the wicket and continued with an aggressive brand of cricket. At the time of writing this article, Pakistan are 102/1 after 10.3 overs, and the duo has stitched an 86-run stand for the 2nd wicket.

Babar Azam Shows Aggressive Intent In 2nd T20I

Talking about Babar, he looks confident and started his innings with two consecutive boundaries. He too is unbeaten on 31 (19), which has featured three fours and a solitary six. Shedding light on the six, Babar flexed his muscles as he cleared the supersport stadium with that shot. 

On the first ball of the 8th over, Babar whacked Peter for a 91-metre six that went out of the ground. The play was halted for a few minutes as the umpires had to wait for the ball. 

Babar Azam Completes 11000 T20 Runs With Six

With the maximum, Babar also completed 11,000 T20 runs. He became the 11th player to reach this milestone. Further, Azam is also the second Pakistani batter after Shoaib Malik to have 11,000 T20 runs. 

It was Babar's 309th T20 innings and he made sure to make it special. He now eyes Malik's record of 13415 runs.
