The 2nd Test between West Indies and South Africa at the Providence Stadium, Guyana; saw a significant turn of events as Aiden Markram, a key player, departed early after his poor outing continued to the second Test, leaving a void in the South African team.

It was the 11th over when Shamar Joseph bowled a length ball outside off. The ball nipped back sharply, catching Markram off guard. He left the ball alone, but it clipped the top of the off stump, leading to his dismissal. 

This marked a significant moment in the match, as South Africa was down to two wickets in the 1st hour of the day. Shamar Joseph, in a remarkable feat, dismissed the South Africa T2OI skipper and picked up his maiden Test wicket at home.

Meanwhile, South Africa are in a dreadful state at the moment as they  are heading towards their lowest ever total against West Indies in a Test Match ever. South Afrcia's last recognised batter, Kyle Verreynne was out in the middle before he was dismissed by speedstar Shamar Joseph, who made history yet again as he scalped his first 5 wicket-haul on home soil.

At the time of writing, South Africa are 97/9 in 36.1 overs.
