Ira Jadhav, aged 14, mounted an unbeaten 346 from just 157 balls in a 50-over game for the Mumbai Under-19 women’s team. The youngster smeared 42 boundaries and 16 sixes in her record-breaking knock to bolt her team to 563-3 against Meghalaya at the Alur Cricket Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, January 12.

Notably, Jadhav is also one of the standby players for the Indian team in the upcoming Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 in Malaysia.

Ira Jadhav clobbered 346* off 157 balls to catapult Mumbai to 563-3 against Meghalaya in a Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy match at Bengaluru’s Alur Cricket Stadium. The 14-year-old clattered 42 boundaries and 16 sixes and maintained an astronomical strike rate of 220.38.

While the record for the highest individual score in a Women’s Under-19 match belongs to South Africa’s Lizelle Lee, who cracked 427* against Kei back in 2010, Ira Jadhav’s blitzkrieg marks the highest score ever recorded in BCCI’s Women's Under 19 One Day Trophy match.

Ira Jadhav even shared a 274-run partnership with number three batter, captain and fellow centurion Hurley Gala to blaze Mumbai past the 300-run mark at just the halfway stage of the innings. Remarkably, Mumbai bowlers shot out Meghalaya for just 19 later in the game to record a huge 544-run victory.

Jadhav recently enlisted herself at the WPL 2025 auction, only to remain unsold by the end of the bidding event. Earlier this month, the young batting sensation was selected as one of the standby players for the Indian Women’s Under-19 team for the upcoming 2025 ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup in Malaysia.
