MS Dhoni, the legend of CSK, failed to step up when his team needed him the most against SRH. He played a slow knock of 6 off 10 balls and was dismissed by Harshal Patel, resulting in backlash on social media.

CSK, placed at the bottom of the table, took on SRH at the Chepauk Stadium today. Chennai batted first but lost opener Shaik Rasheed on the very first delivery.

MS Dhoni Dismissed Cheaply Again

Chennai Super Kings were reduced to 118/6 when MS Dhoni walked out to bat. In 10 balls that he faced, the former captain scored a mere 6 runs. Moreover, Harshal Patel took advantage of the pressure building on Dhoni to send him back to the dressing room.

The SRH pacer bowled a clever short-of-length delivery with just enough width, and Dhoni, normally the calm finisher, went for a cut but ended up offering a straight catch to Abhishek Sharma at backward point.
