Suryakumar Yadav just can’t stop scoring. The Mumbai Indians batter has been in red-hot form this IPL season and now he’s got another massive record to his name.
Suryakumar Yadav Sets New IPL Benchmark With Unreal Batting Consistency
In Match 50 of IPL 2025 against Rajasthan Royals, Suryakumar Yadav smashed an unbeaten 48 off 23 balls to keep his purple patch going strong. And in the process, he etched his name at the very top of a unique all-time IPL list.
By crossing 25 runs yet again, Suryakumar notched up his 11th consecutive score of 25 or more in IPL 2025. He has passed 25 in every single game he has played this season. It’s a level of consistency that even legends struggle to maintain in a league this intense.
He has now surpassed Robin Uthappa, who held the previous record with 10 such scores during KKR’s title-winning run in 2014. To be clear, all 11 of SKY’s scores have come in consecutive games, which makes it even more ridiculous.

Against Rajasthan Royals, he played the perfect finisher once again, ensuring MI finished with a mammoth 217/2 after Ryan Rickelton (61) and Rohit Sharma (53) provided a cracking start.
Hardik Pandya also chipped in with a brutal 48* as MI continued to steamroll through the season, chasing their sixth win in a row.
