In a significant development, the 15th group-stage match of the ICC World Cup between South Africa and the Netherlands has been reduced to 43-overs per side due to rain. The match, initially scheduled at 2.00 PM IST, saw the toss being delayed, as rain played spoilsport at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.

However, soon after South African skipper Temba Bavuma opted to bowl under overcast conditions, rain resumed, not allowing the game to restart on time.

After it stopped raining, the on-field umpires assessed the playing conditions, declaring 4.00 PM IST as the rescheduled time for the game's resumption.
