South Africa will host Australia in the second T20I of their three-match series in Kingsmead on September 1. The match marks a must-win one for the Proteas in their attempt of enforcing a series-decider this Sunday at the same venue.

Debutants Aaron Hardie, Spencer Johnson, Tanveer Sangha all found time to shine in their maiden T20I outings to cap a complete team effort.

Skipper Marsh himself bludgeoned a 49-ball 92* while Tim David clubbed a 28-ball 64* to orchestrate the record Australian total. Remarkably, the ongoing series is Australia’s first T20I assignment since their disappointing campaign at the 2022 T20 World Cup at home.
