On Day 4 of the Gabba Test between India and Australia, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was spotted with a unique bat with 'Marwadi Stallion' engraved on it. Jadeja, an avid fan of horses, paid tribute to his horses on the centre stage of the Border-Gavaskar Series 2024-25.
The third Test between India and Australia at Gabba is hanging in the balance. With regular rain interruptions on Day 4, the men in blue began their day's play at 51/4 on the scoreboard.
Meanwhile, despite wickets falling from one end, KL Rahul led the resistance with 84 off 139 balls gritty knock. To support from the other end, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja took charge to slam an inspiring half-century.

Courtesy of the duo's 67-run partnership, India remains 45 runs away from avoiding follow-on. Still, Australia holds a strong grip on the Test match.
That being said, on Day 4, Ravindra Jadeja was spotted with a customised bat with 'Marwadi Stallions' engraved on it. To those unversed, Jadeja is extremely fond of horses. At his farmhouse in Gujarat, Jadeja owns four horses, each with distinct personalities and breeds.
Kesar, a mix of the Marwadi and Kathiawadi breeds, is one of Jadeja's prized horses. Beyond horses, Jadeja's farmhouse is a haven for various animals, including rabbits, pigeons, fish, and dogs. Hence, to pay tribute to his love for animals, the all-rounder walked out in Gabba with a special bat.
Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma falls as India stare at shameful defeat
In the second innings of the Gabba Test, India succumbed under pressure. At the end of Day 3, the visiting team were 51/4. However, on Day 4, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja led some resistance.
That being said, seniors, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma once again failed to step up in need. While Kohli was dismissed on just 3 runs on Day 3, the Indian skipper was dismissed in a similar fashion on Day 4 after he scored just 10 runs off 27 balls. Needless to say, the seniors' downfall will be a talking point in case India loses the Gabba Test.
