Ravindra Jadeja Becomes Second Indian After Kapil Dev To Reach 'This' Rare Milestone

Ravindra Jadeja has been one of the critical asset for India across formats for over a decade now. The man has played a big role with his all-round skills and has evolved beautifully as a player. His flexibility and temperament as a batter provides India with great balance and his bowling along with his fielding has always been top-notch.

His Test records are just phenomenal while his skills as a limited-overs cricketer is also one of the best in the world. Now, in the game against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2023, he has reached a special landmark with a wicket of Shamim Hossain. The wicket took him to 200 ODI wickets and he is now the second player after the great Kapil Dev to do the double of 2000 runs and 200 wickets.

Jadeja is also the 7the Indian player to take 200 ODI wickets with Anil Kumble and Javagal Srinath, the only bowlers to take more than 300 wickets for India in ODIs. Jadeja has been pretty effective in this Asia Cup as well with wickets in crucial junctures and is a big player for India with World Cup around the corner.
