The great spin allrounder achieved his eighth half-century on Indian shores since 2018, the most by an Indian batter at home in the six-year period.
Jadeja inched over the joint holders of the numero uno tag Rishabh Pant and Cheteshwar Pujara, who have smashed seven half-centuries apiece since the start of 2018 in home conditions. The Gujarat lad managed to pip over the premier wicketkeeper-batter and the stoic No.3 for India.
