The stage is set for an exciting and a thrilling Day 4 at Newlands, Cape Town, where South Africa and Pakistan are locked in a fascinating battle in the second Test. After dominating most of the game, South Africa now faces a Pakistan side refusing to roll over.

Pakistan’s Spirited Comeback on Day 3

Day 3 had plenty of drama. Pakistan started at 64/3, struggling to avoid the follow-on. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan steadied the ship with a solid stand, but wickets fell regularly after Babar’s fighting fifty. By lunch, Pakistan was in tatters at 155/6, and it didn’t take long for South Africa to bundle them out for 194.

Masood smashed a gritty century, while Babar chipped in with a classy 81. By stumps, Pakistan had reached 213/1, still 208 runs behind, but showing they’re not going down without a fight.
