In the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings, MS Dhoni stole the limelight as he took on Yuzi Chahal that got the Chepauk crowd erupted. Notably, the captain cool walked to bat when the Men in Yellow were 172/5 after 17.4 overs.

Dhoni started his innings on a positive note as he whacked Marco Jansen for a four off his first ball. Further, Shreyas Iyer put Chahal onto the attack as he looked to exploit Dhoni's spin weakness. However, Dhoni silenced the critics and slammed Chahal for a six on the first ball of the over and that too a one-handed six.

MS Dhoni Takes On Chahal With A One-Handed Six

Dhoni went down the ground and interestingly, the shot went towards the CSK dressing room and the catch was taken by Ravindra Jadeja. Watch the shot here. 

Following the six, Chahal got rid of MS Dhoni and the CSK skipper returned to the pavilion with a score of 11 (4), which featured a four and a solitary six. 

Yuzi Chahal Bounces Back Strongly

Despite getting hit for a six in that over, Chahal bounced back strongly as he took four wickets in that over and it included a hat-trick. It was Chahal's 2nd hat-trick of his career and his spell helped PBKS restrict Chennai to just 190 runs in 19.1 overs. Chahal bowled just three overs and registered the figures of 4/32 in his three overs. 

Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, CSK have been bowled out for 190 runs.
