Cricket hasn't been the same ever since India's legends Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announced their retirements from Test and T20I cricket. The duo has been a pillar of strength and the backbone of Indian cricket, and they were admired by the whole of India.

Currently, India is playing the 2nd Test against the West Indies at Delhi, and the fan turnout in the stadium has been a nightmare for the management. Empty stands with few spectators. Those who were present only had one chant on their mouths and placards holding only two names, "Rohit and Kohli."

Fans bring out Rohit-Kohli posters during the India match

The India vs. West Indies 2nd Test went in the former's favour after Stumps on Day 1, but the fragile picture of mass drawing names missing remains the haunting fact. TV channels broadcasting the match featured a few fans who were present in the stands, but they were more in remembrance of the legendary duo than they were to watch the match.

A fan was spotted on camera wearing the white India jersey and holding a placard that read, "V Miss You King Kohli No. 18." Another fan held a poster, "We Miss You Ro-Ko," featuring a picture of the duo on the poster.

Another camera shot showed a boy and a girl sitting together wearing the iconic jerseys of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. All these emotions that are overflowing for the duo are the unadulterated love that they have earned throughout their career, and their absence from Tests is also probably the reason why the fan turnout at Delhi is so low.

Ro-Ko ready for national comeback in Australia

Nevertheless, fans will get a chance to celebrate, as they will see their idols once again after a long gap in the Australia ODI tour, where both Rohit and Kohli will be featured in the playing XI under new skipper Shubman Gill.

While the sudden captaincy change was debatable, Rohit seems to be unaffected as he continued his cracking net sessions in Mumbai just ahead of the tour, while Kohli is spending time with his family in London.
