In a significant development, India have handed T20I debut cap to prominent Chennai Super Kings pacer Tushar Deshpande for the fourth game of the ongoing five-match series against Zimbabwe. 

Having won two consecutive matches, India currently lead the series by 2-1 and would be keen to seal the series by winning this game at Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe.

Tushar Deshpande to make his debut in IND vs ZIM 4th T20I

India, who have rotated their pacers so far in the series, have made a bold move, handing debut T20I cap to CSK's star pacer Tushar Deshpande ahead of the penultimate clash in Harare. 

Deshpande has represented two teams- Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings- in the Indian Premier League. 

However, he has established himself as a proven performer for the Yellow Brigade, scalping 39 wickets in 31 outings. The promising seamer from Mumbai replaces Avesh Khan in India's playing XI for the fourth T20I. 

IND vs ZIM 4th T20I toss update

Meanwhile, Indian captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first in the fourth T20I. 

While India have replaced Avesh with Deshpande, the hosts have brought in Faraz Akram in place of left-arm spinner Wellington Masakadza.
